Its technical characteristics indicate that it is destined essentially for low frequencies. It is therefore advisable to filter high and medium frequencies with a passive or active filter, or with a parametrical equaliser.

Its qualities are excellent in the restoration of all instruments particularly the great orchestral volumes, the organ, the bass drum or the electric bass guitar. This speaker is very easy to use up to 200 hz. It works very well with the 21 Model 7.

The 30 Model 7 speaker is the derived version of the 21 Model 7. As is already the case for that model, the carbon suspensionless technology allows for a greater rapidity of movement. It has been designed to restore low frequencies with a similar velocity to that of the 21 Model 7 version.

Its resonance frequency of 22 Hz, its average sensitivity of 98dB/W/m and its acceleration factor of 442 (see Thiele and Small characteristics) make it a unique speaker, the best on the market. This velocity allows it to effortlessly follow from the 21 Model 7 with no discrepancy in sensory perception. As for the earlier model, we recommend the use of electronics of modest power ( a few transistor or digital watts for example) so that the mechanical capacity of the speaker isn’t exceeded and the speaker itself isn’t damaged. After all, it does have to receive 50W RMS.
